全編、愛人Jバーキンとの絡みといった風情のアルバムだからでしょうか、デュエットの相手にどこかSゲンスブールの影がちらついてしまう気がします。井上陽水をはじめ誰一人として似ているわけではないんですが・・・。 聴く前にミスキャストかと思っていたBフェリーが実に渋い。M3”In Every Dream Home A Heartache”はもちろん彼の曲だが距離を置いた接し方で、Jバーキンが擦り寄っても微動だにしない。未練がましい別れた愛人を冷たくあしらう感じ。クールに決めてくれます。 ちなみにサウンド・メイクが意外に尖がってましてインディ色プンプンです。ある時はインダストリアル、またある時はディープでアンビエンスの効いたループだったりします。Jバーキンってこういうところは挑戦的なんですよね。

陽水さんの大ファンなので、ジェーン・バーキンとのデュエット楽しみにしていましたが、CCCDだなんて・・・。 フォー・ライフから新曲が出る時は、CCCDじゃない事を祈ります。
