本当に本当に素敵なライブ盤。付属のDVDが...

本当に本当に素敵なライブ盤。付属のDVDが少々雑なつくりになっているのが気になるが、流れてくる音楽は文句なし。個人的にはYou’ve Got a FriendからのUp on the Roofの流れが好きです。まるで映画のエンディングのようでグッときます。

ライブハウスTroubadourの50周年を祝うCarole KingとJames Taylorによる2010年のライブアルバム。 なんと、約40年ぶりの再会ライヴ、ダニー・コーチマー(g)やラス・カンケル(ds)という当時のメンバーが参加。 ライブ映像をテレビで見てほのぼのしてしまい購入。 ふたりのYou’ve Got A Friendは、うまい下手を超越した味わいがあります。

最高だ。でも今年の東京２公演＆横浜１公演を視聴してしまうと、何だか物足りない。収録曲は約半分だし、バックが３人なのでＣＫが自由に動き回れないし・・・・・(それとも、トルバドゥールではこれだけの演奏だったのかな？)。これは望蜀の思いなのだろうか？
