TJR has been awarded the 'artist of the month' spot (April 2012) by local radio station 93.3 WMMR in Philadelphia. They've racked up local radio play and prime gigging real estate (Theater of Living Arts - TLA - World Cafe Live, House of Blues, Escape2NY Music Festival, The Trocadero, Tin Angel, Legendary Dobbs, Doc Watsons (RIP) and North Star). With their self-released debut album Mighty Wind Blower officially under their belt as of early 2012, The Jackson Rider continues to grow in popularity - building a fan base and creating buzz beyond the local scope, and venturing onto a national level.
