クリームの魅力はジャックのベースとヴォーカルだと固く信じていたあの頃。ふと当時最新リリースの本作を聴いてから、まあ20年以上経ちましたか。このアルバムのジャックはがなりもしないし、ベースで暴れもしない。そこはクリームとは違う（当たり前か）。とにかくいい曲を書き、メロディアスに唄うのだ。演奏も外部ミュージシャンの力をバリバリ活かして決めている。セロとかは弾かないし。そういうのを肩透かしとはとらずに自分は感動した。全然イノベイティブではないが、好盤であることは間違いなし。
