Jackson was killed in San Quentin State Prison in 1971, a few days after he finished writing the book. 'Blood In My Eye' was originally going to be an Ep but it was then decided it would be better as an album instead. Since his first album 'Venni, Vetti Vicci' Ja Rule has proved he is a force like no other, exploding in the UK with his platinum third album 'Pain Is Love' under two years ago. This time he has done things differently with tracks such as 'The Crown' showing Ja's diversity as an artist and an icon. He has even lifted a popular reggae cut from Sizzla as the hook for 'The Crown'. Witness the return of Ja Rule with his vengence to silence any one who has doubted his talent and the impact he has had on Hip Hop.
