ピート・シールク（vo. g）率いるIRON SAVIORが通常のアルバム制作と並行して2017年から続けてきたバンドの初期楽曲再録音企画シリーズ“REFORGED”の完結編となる「REFORGED - MACHINE WORLD」がリリースされる。“Reforged”シリーズはフィジカル・フォーマット（CD）が在庫切れ入手困難になった“Noise Records”在籍時代の楽曲をファンの要望に応えて復活させる意味合いで始まった企画である。第一弾の「REFORGED - RIDING ON FIRE」（2017年）、第二弾の「REFORGED - IRONBOUND」（2022年）の2作品がリリースされているが、今回の第三弾は2000年代前半の楽曲中心の選曲となっている。
