Manhattan Transfer meets Sons of the Pioneers! This is a unique set of vocal jazz tracks of familiar yet new hundred-year-old cowboy and mountain songs. These contemporary arrangements are by one of the leaders in the field, all sung a cappella. Inner Voices founder & arranger Morgan Ames is a veteran singer/arranger/producer who worked for Qunicy Jones for three years, co-produced the Grammy winning album Diane Schuur and the Count Basie Orchestra. She has worked with & arranged for Kenny Loggins, Wynonna, Dionne Warwick, Bette Midler, David Benoit and has performed with Paul McCartney, Chaka Kahn, the Doobie Brothers and Patti Austin. Her songs have been recorded by Roberta Flack, Shirley Horne, Barbara Mandrell, Bob James, Peggy Lee etc.
