Product Description

Final part of the acclaimed Hong Kong cop thriller, featuring Andy Lau (House of Flying Daggers, Fulltime Killer) and Tony Leung (2046, Hero). Having been cleared of undercover cop Yan's death two years earlier, triad mole Inspector Ming is relegated to office work whilst there's a pending internal investigation. However trouble begins when another mole shoots himself dead in front on one of the new rising stars of the department, Yeung (Leon Lai from Heroic Duo). Could he be working for the triads too? He's also connected to mainland boss Shen, who was an informant for Yan's former mentor, Sam. Events from Yen's past now threaten Ming's new position.

Moving the action between the previous two films, directors Andrew Lau and Alan Mak twist greater depth and complexity into this action-led drama, bringing it full circle.

　ヤン（トニー・レオン）の死後も、ラウ（アンディー・ラウ）は眠れぬ日々を送っていた。他の潜入マフィアを一人残らず始末する仕事が残っていたからだ。

　10ヵ月後、生まれた赤ん坊をつれて去ったマリーとの離婚調停のさなか、ラウの前に新たに立ちはだかるエリート警官ヨン（レオン・ライ）。過去にヨンが、サムの商売相手だった本土の大物シェン（チェン・ダオミン）と接触していたことを知ったラウは、ヨンを潜入マフィアと確信する。

　証拠をつかむためにヨンを監視するラウ。彼はまた、精神科医リー（ケリー・チャン）に近づき、大切に保管されていたヤンのカルテを手に入れる。カルテには、生涯でもっとも幸福なヤンの姿が記されていた。ヤンに自分を重ね、運命を変えるための最後の戦いに向かうラウ。だが、いつしかヤンの死の真相を知る者の気配が忍び寄っていた……。
