Electric Ragas was conceived as a way to bring across the essence of RAGAS. Using only one amplifier effect, the layered compositions comprise only one take of tabla drumming, and one take of electric sitar or guitar....meaning that minimal technology has been used to create these tracks. One might think that many effects have been implemented and many takes taken, but this is not the case. Electric Ragas is a tribute to the improvisational nature of the depth of a Raga....once you 'get into it' you are in a whole new world.....
