Bobby Jaspar, Jacques Pelzer, Steve Houben, Rene Thomas, Robert Grahame, Jacques Pirotton、そしてピアニストではEric Legnini, Pascal Mohyなどを生み出したベルギー東部地方リエージュ。ここからまた新たな逸材が登場。Igor Gehenotは1989年生まれのピアニスト。6歳からピアノを始め、5年間のクラシックのトレーニングを経てジャズに開眼。Dado Moroni, Salvatore Bonafede ,Antonio Sanchez, Jozef Dumoulin, Fabian Fioriniなどから教えを受けた。2011年には、Sabam Jazz Awards 2011(旧Django dOr)でYoung Talent部門を受賞。本作は、彼のトリオによるデビュー作となる。
