This album presents an edgier sound than my previous recordings while still maintaining the all-important smooth and earthy elements of blues and jazz. You will want to dance the blues, swing, or samba while falling in love with the songs of Cole Porter, Burt Bacharach and Hal David, Miles Davis, George and Ira Gershwin, and other renowned composers. I have chosen these songs for their deep, rich lyrics, expressive melodies and mood. This has a little something for everyone. The album features Terry Lower (piano), Sam Weber (bass) and Evan Hyde (drums).
