Product Description

Marcel Jacob and Jeff Scott Sotos side project from Talisman, named after the Talisman album Humanimal. Could be a Talisman album as the songs and sound is very similar. This album was recorded while waiting for Talismans Live At Sweden Rock was to be released. No Talisman or a fan of good hard rock with melodies will be dissapointed by this album.

つい最近の話ですが、マルセル・ヤコブ(B)が自殺し、大きな話題を呼んだ。どうやら長年のリウマチという病気に耐えることができず、自分で終止符を打つことにしたらしい。彼は今までに様々なバンドやプロジェクトに参加してきたが、一枚だけリリースされたこの「HUMANIMALを紹介したい。ジェフ・スコット・ソートとタッグを組み、実力派ミュージシャンが集結したこのアルバムはTALISMANの完成度を上回っている。そして、マルセルのベースプレイも一級品だ。個人的にオススメしたいのは、No.8も強力だが、No.1〜No.3のナンバーで、サビも素晴らしいが、No.2やNo.3の前奏で聴けるマルセルのベースプレイが特に際立っているし、彼のそのプレイや生き様は多くのミュージシャンに多大な影響を与えたに違いない。今まで素晴らしいアルバムを残してくれて心から感謝したい。安らかに眠ってください。
