Hot Einstein

Hot Einstein is a Rock & Roll band with swing and swagger. They are a unique brand of Rock & Roll revivalist showing reverence to their musical heroes like Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, Booker T and the MGs, and The Band. Just like their heroes, they never stray too far from the hopeful optimism of the blues, the original bedrock of American popular music. Steeped in the tradition of rhythm and blues, there is a tangible joy and 'lift' to their music...evidenced by their high-energy live shows, and also apparent on this record . The songs on the album are diverse, while at the same time demonstrating the common thread that runs through the seemingly disparate styles of soul, rock & roll, reggae, country, blues and gospel. Catchy songwriting and superior musicianship abound on this record...this music was evidently created by a band playing together in a room rather than on a computer screen with drum machines. Tambourine, vintage keyboards, and family-band-style vocal harmonies feature prominently on several songs.
