HYDEのVAMPSとも共演したことでも知られる、ゴシック・ヘヴィロックバンドのベストアルバム。収録されている曲は、全体的にヘヴィさよりもメロディアスな曲が多い印象であり、曲によってはメロディアスハードのような雰囲気も感じられる。メロディアスでキャッチーな“HEARTACHE EVERY MOMENT”、“THE SACRAMENT”、浮遊感のある“JOIN ME”、ハードに疾走する“BURIED ALIVE”など印象に残る曲が多く、HIMというバンドの魅力を知るのに最適な一枚。
