ヘレン・ヒュームズが1960年録音したスタンダード・ナンバーを歌うコンテンポラリー・レコードの2作目。ルイビル出身の彼女は、カウント・ベイシー・オーケストラとの共演を含め、ジャズとブルースのヴォーカリストとしてスタートを切ったが、その後スウィング・ミュージックのサウンドを定義するようになった。「バラードとブルースの両方に精通しているシンガーは他にいない」と評された彼女の絹のような声で歌われる "If I Could Be With You "や "You're Driving Me Crazy "は、切なさを滲ませつつも喜びを感じさせる。ベン・ウェブスター、テディ・エドワーズ、アート・ペッパーといった金字塔を打ち立てたサックス奏者たちが参加している。
