After spending the better part of 2013 touring behind their ambitious twenty-three song rock opera Collywobble, the North Carolina psychedelic math rockers in Hectorina start fresh in 2014 with their sophomore album A Thousand Jackals. Recorded during a week long, snow-covered recording session in Philadelphia, PA with producer Daniel Hodges, this 9 song album trades in Collywobble's fantastical storyline and mixed-bag musical suites for darker, more groove based indie rock.
