大人になり、やれエレクトリックマイルスだ！やれブルックナーだ！やれバルトークだ！...と格好つけるダサい日々を送るオレだが、子供の頃....星人（今でも！文句あるか！）の俺はポスタースリーブ東芝ＥＭＩ盤を興奮しながら聴いていたのだ！

３０年近く前にＮＨＫのＦＭで聞いてカセットに録音した思い出があります。６０歳近くになっても聞いています。 ただ、このアルバムはもう一つの感じです。ドライブ感のあるほうが自分は好きです。 ベースのレミーはいかしている。

ついでにひと言。ブリティッシュの67年問題サイケデリックバンドであるHAPSHASH＆THE COLOURED COATのアルバムのタイトルにも本作のブックレットにも“HEAVYMETAL KIDS”の文字がみられるのだけれども、そこからヘヴィメタルの概念が派生したのだろうか？
