サイモン＆ガーファンクルの「59th Street Bridge Song」のカバーで知られるところとなった60年代後期のソフトロック・グループ、ハーパーズ・ビザールの2ndアルバム『Anything Goes』（67年）に、アルバムには収録されていないシングル、モノシングルバージョン、インストバージョン9曲を追加した拡大エディション。
アルバムタイトルとなったコール・ポーターの「Anything Goes」はディキシースタイルにアレンジされ、40年代のサウンドが感じられる。「The Biggest Night of Her Life」は当時無名だったランディ・ニューマンの作品。「Pocketful of Miracles」は61年の映画“ポケット一杯の幸福”の主題歌。ドリーミーなこの曲はハーパーズの持ち味がうまく生かされているといえよう。バックサウンドにはストリングスやハープシコードなどに加え、サウンド・エフェクトも効果的に使って、新しさと懐かしさが共存した独特の世界を作り上げている。オリジナルマスターテープを使用。モノミックス・バージョンは初めてのCD化。
16ページのカラーブックレットにはレアな写真とオリジナルメンバーと名プロデューサーのレニー・ワロンカーの協力により詳細な解説を掲載。
