Wunderwelten

Hans Engel is a film composer based in Los Angeles and Cologne/Germany. During the last 20 years he composed the music for a wide variety of documentaries on International culture TV-channels. This new CD 'Wunderwelten' - composed in 2010 - is free from TV and movie influences. It reflects Hans Engel's own life experiences and travel impressions from a lot of countries all over the world. The result is a CD with the multitude of facets of lfe itsself. Also there is a wide variety of sounds: Next to acoustic and electric guitars you'll find the 12-string Portuguese guitar or a Hi-String Nashville tuned acoustic guitar next to an African Mbira and Celtic harps. The listener will get lost in a world of sound impressions - including childlike moods, chilled guitar songs or some warm and relaxed synthesizer sound fields to dream away.
