オペラを42作品も作曲した音楽の母ヘンデル...

オペラを42作品も作曲した音楽の母ヘンデル、有名な作品は一つも収録されてないが、どれもヘンデルらしい優美な旋律に溢れた佳作を集めた。歌詞を収めたCD-ROMも付き、良心的な価格です。HMVレビューとLibrettiの作品順序が違うので訂正すると、Rodrigo、Radamisto、Admeto、Fernando、Arminio、Deidamiaの順です。最後のDeidamiaは、独語だとダイダミアですが、伊語だと『デイダミア』です。検索で外れてしまうので要注意です。

没後250年でもあるし聴いてみたいと思って...

没後250年でもあるし聴いてみたいと思っても、財布と相談するとオペラ全曲盤はなかなか買えない。しかし、このセットのおかげで、ヘンデルの余り有名でないこれらのオペラをゆっくり楽しむことができた。アドメートのみ録音が1977年と古いので、どうかなと思っていたが、違和感無く楽しめた。
