Green Day salute two of their greatest influences, the Ramones and the Kinks, on their new B-sides/rarities album 'Shenanigans'. Among the 14 tracks are covers of the Ramones' 'Outsider' (originally released as the B-side to 'Warning') and the Kinks' 'Tired Of Waiting for You', recorded during the 'Dookie' era. The album also includes the previouly unreleased 'Ha Ha You're Dead', plus 'Espionage' from the 'Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me' soundtrack. "It's something for our fans", says bassist Mike Dirnt. "It's great if someone wants to go get every piece of vinyl, but there are songs that shouldn't be left only to the collectors".

ｼﾝｸﾞﾙのｶｯﾌﾟﾘﾝｸﾞやﾎﾞｰﾄﾗを収めたB面集ですが､ほのぼのとした雰囲気がおもしろいです｡⑥のｲﾝｽﾄ曲がいい味出しています｡ｶｯﾌﾟﾘﾝｸﾞに名曲ありと言いますが､まさにその通り｡こうして集まると圧巻ですね｡
