Gloria Victis is a progressive metal/hardcore band from Sherbrooke, Canada. Created in late 2011, the band immediately recorded a five song EP at the Red Dusk Studio. The band released it's first EP and a videoclip of the song Standing Tall during spring 2012. Known for it's professional sound, the eponym album rapidly held the attention. Afterwards, the band started it's first release CD tour across Quebec, Canada with Obliterate. This experience gave the members the motivation to carry on their dream, and this is to share their music with the greatest number of people possible. That is the reason why they took off a little break after their tour, in order to write a new album, which was going to be a LP. With that album, the band aim to have a much sought-after sound that will define them much more. For Gloria Victis, music is more than a hobby: it is a passion, a dream, a life project. Despite the hard times of the modern hardcore scene, the band believes in it's chances and is more determined each day to get closer to it's dream.
