イタリアの若手ピアニスト、ジョヴァンニ・グイディのトリオによる2015年『This Is The Day』以来のECM3作目が登場。
　フランスのシンガーソングライター/作曲家レオ・フェレによる愛と喪失についての曲をタイトルにも起用、オープニングに演奏、そして今年の7月に亡くなったイタリアのトランぺッター、トーマス・スタンコに捧げたオリジナル曲 “Tomasz”で幕を閉じる。
　間では、バンドはクインテット・サイズに膨れ上がり、サックス奏者のFrancesco BearzattiとギタリストのRoberto Cecchettoがグィディのオリジナル作品とグループの即興演奏に参加し、メンバー全員が卓越した演奏でエネルギーと色彩のコントラストを描く。（輸入元情報）
