All Year Long!

Gigi & Pop continue to bring laughs through melodies that are sometimes sweet, sometimes caustic, and sometimes inappropriate, but always fun. Coming from a burlesque-influenced background, they bring an element of humor that is both innocent and childish one moment, and completely adult and 'blue' the next. 'All Year Long!' is their ode to popular (and not so popular) holidays throughout the year. These 14 original songs include their unpredictable and irreverent take on birthdays, St. Patrick's Day, Purim (Jewish), Halloween and much, much more. From the fun-filled and silly garage-rock inspired 'Santa Go-Go!' (already released as a single), to the very adult humor of 'Easter's All About' and their Mother's/Father's Day tribute, 'Nasty: Too Much Information', they mix Klezmer with club beats, electronica with ukulele, tap shoes and slide whistles with grooveboxes and synths. All the while they are still unafraid to throw in some catchy pop hooks as with their summer epic 'Fireworks' (another single off the album). It's a holiday album that doesn't feel as predictable and tired as holiday music can be. Best of all, it doesn't limit itself to one month out of the year!
