1991年12月14日、東京ドームでライヴ・イン・ジャパン を観た者として、SACDは非常に嬉しい。1976-1992年のこの全集は感涙モノ。ソロでの最高傑作のクラウド・ナイン以外のアルバムでも佳曲が多いし、何よりもジョージの声に癒される。ジョージ節の癒しに気づいたのは、自分も歳をとった証拠か。約1万円で安価な2015年輸入限定盤を入手でき、本当にラッキー。

発売当時CCCDでは無いCapitol-USA盤を買っ...

発売当時CCCDでは無いCapitol-USA盤を買って喜んだものの、今となっては何かが抜けている感じが否めないな。かつてのDark Horse/Warner Bros.からの再発なら、1989年のﾍﾞｽﾄ盤を入れるべきでした。SOMEWHERE?は、最初のGeorgeｵﾘｼﾞﾅﾙｼﾞｬｹ･ｵﾘｼﾞﾅﾙ選曲と、WB発売の2種類での発売。そして2008年現在音楽配信のみの楽曲のﾘﾏｽﾀｰCD化、何か歯が抜けた様なBOX仕様になっちゃったな。まぁEMIだから仕方無いかな。
