Product Description

Crooked Channel is the fifth Genuine Hick CD (not including the Brad Benge 'Amalgam' project of John Noerdlinger tunes). Interestingly, although our music has never been overtly political this album turns out to be pretty issue oriented. Check out the tracks 'Crackhead World' and 'Share the Wealth.' 'Got Me By the Balls' is our ode to AC-DC and 'Let Me Fuck You Up' pays homage to the Ramones. 'I Heard a Train' is what Woody Guthrie might have sounded like if he'd been born 50 years later. We are in the midst of rehearsing a live show. Debut gig is December 1 (2012) at The Blues Saloon in Oklahoma City.
