End To Edge

Without question, Gary Stephen Sloyer's album End To Edge is an ambitious project. It's not your typical Christian music album, that's for sure. In fact, it even includes what might be considered an album within an album... Sloyer creates music best described as adult contemporary. He sings in a smooth, trained voice. Although his musical style is relatively mild, his creative mind many times betrays his style in the best possible ways. It sometimes seems as though he has a progressive rock mind, trapped in a middle of the road body. Perhaps that is too extreme of a summarization. Nevertheless, it's hard to escape the impression that this man is beautifully unusual. - Dan MacIntosh, Review You Some guys just have all the skill. Sloyer's production is squeaky clean and boasts a sound quality that rivals more high level studios, to be sure. Likewise, his compositions are full and flower into a myriad of sounds, bursting with energy. These are songs that evoke the theatrical, coming across many times like tracks from a musical or, in some cases, a church program...
