Garden Child

In keeping with the tradition I have started, this album contains original and traditional music to honor the birth of our granddaughter, our third grandchild and hence, my third album. As a therapeutic musician, I incorporate the skills and knowledge used for creating a relaxing, calming, uplifting, even healing environment on these tracks in hopes of alleviating discomfort, fussiness, restlessness, pain. All music is strictly acoustic, the best way for the music to reach the listener at a deeper level. Several of the songs come from my own childhood and hearken back to old songbooks my mother used as she sang and played for me as a baby and toddler. The publishing dates go back to the 30's and 40's. I sang these songs from memory to my own children and now they are recorded for the next generations. If it were not for my albums, these sweet, gentle songs might be lost and forgotten.
