Fusion Galaxy is basically a new take on 'Fusion'- a combination of rock and jazz, but there are many more influences. Originally 'fusion' included elaborate virtuoso solos. Fusion Galaxy tends to focus more on succinct musical hooks and structures. Solos alternate with simple melodies and interesting chord changes. Fusion Galaxy is about taking 'fusion' in an interesting new direction, while projecting an edgy intensity.
