New release and third record overall from Indian-African-Caribbean ensemble Funkadesi, who are 5 time Chicago Music Award winners and have been making great music for 11 years. It's hard to imagine an album that spans Bollywood, Bhangra, Reggae, Funk, Hip-Hop, Electronica, American Folk and Afro-Caribbean music that is neither a compilation nor a watered down fusion experiment, but Yo Baba is that record.
