Front Line Assembly reclaimed it's throne last year with the release of ARTIFICIAL SOLDIER and a world tour. Not wanting to rest on their laurels, the band is preparing for a second assault. 　「ARTIFICIAL SOLDIER」の未収録3曲とリミックスを集めたアルバム。「Electric Dream」は98年に出したアルバム「FLAVOUR OF THE WEAK」に収録されていてもおかしくないテクノ曲。「Armageddon」はノイジーなギターが炸裂するアグレッシブな曲で格好良いです。リミックスはどれも原曲よりノイジーで、曲によってトランス・テクノ寄りになっていて、2曲目の「Buried Alive」ではダブステップまで入ります。リミックスを手掛けるアーティストも豪華で、フューチャーポップユニットのIcon of Coilに、Zombie Girl・Komor Kommandoで活躍するSebastian R. Komorの他、Icon of Coilの別プロジェクトのCombichrist。特に7曲目の「Lowlife」はFLA、Front242を手掛けたPortion Controlが手掛けていて、ボーカルやシンセにエフェクトをバリバリかけたノイジーなアンビエントテクノを披露。トータルで見て質の良いリミックスが揃っているのが好感持てます。「ARTIFICIAL SOLDIER」が気に入ったなら買って損はしないアルバムです。
