Product Description

This 13 song set is as diverse as it gets while still being AFT. The record opens with 'Man With a Bottle', an honest, straight to the point rock song. Other highlights include the Byrds influenced 'Peaceful Days' and the finely crafted 'Something to Say', both complete with jangly guitars and Beach Boys-esque harmonies. There's even a bit of a country-folk influence, as heard on 'I Just Never Said Enough', which features slide guitar by veteran musician Peter Holsapple (The dB's, REM). The album also features a guest appearance by Amy Ray, one half of the Indigo Girls, who lends her talents to the Beatles-meets-garage rock song 'Dear Abbey White' as well the blues-rocker 'Thirteen'. The album ends with 'World, Revisited', a poignant, socially conscious folk ballad that will surely leave the listener wanting more. Produced by critically acclaimed singer-songwriter Danielle Howle and recorded in Awendaw, South Carolina, Tripping Over Nothing is truly an album that not only will please rock fans, but surely has something for everyone.
