Product Description

2010 sophomore album from the British outfit, produced by former Clor Luke Smith. The album was recorded over Summer 2009 at Svenska Gramofon in Sweden. While the first album drew comparisons to Talking Heads and Krautrock, this second full length is a darker, slower affair. The restless, woven guitar tapestries of their debut offering have softened on it's successor. The pace is less breakneck but still as resonant.

２０２１年の耳で聴いても心地良いし刺激のある作品だと思う。ジャケットの青さが音にちゃんと現れているのも素晴らしい、当時Blitzで観たライブも最高でした。

まどろみのなかに溶けていくｸﾞﾙｰｳﾞとでも言おうか、緻密に折り重ねられた音空間の広がり、深み。VAMPIRE WEEKENDといいMGMTといい2010年は心地好すぎる。

直感で購入しました。 初めて聞いたときはちょっと難しい気がしましたが、最近はヘビロテ。 個人的にはBlack GoldとSpanish Saharaが好きです。
