いかにも宮廷で演奏されたような、かなり安心して聴けるものだ。心にグサリと突き刺さるようなところがないのは、ファッシュが注文主のために作曲しているからだろう。演奏も録音も悪くないが、このような宮廷での演奏用の曲はもう少し柔らかく芳醇に演奏してもらえたらもっと素晴らしいものになったろうと思う。
