Falldown

Falldown is an all-star group of songwriters and musicians from Chicago in their mid-late 20s who have been playing in different bands together for many years. This is their first studio EP of original music by guitarist/violinist Jared Rabin. The six songs range from twangy rocknroll to slamming bluegrass to sentimental and thoughtful songs, and reflect a lot about the lives of musicians coming up in the city. The band has a wide variety of musical backgrounds, members having been in groups like The Redwalls, The HUE, and Safe Haven, and the Chicago Civic Orchestra, and also features singer/songwriter Liza Day. This is music that any fan of alt/country and rocknroll will connect with. The songs are thoughtful, but catchy and will get stuck in your head but do not seem contrived. It is honest, good music made by some of the best, busiest younger generation of rock and country musicians in the city of Chicago. Hope that you enjoy it!
