Extra Golden is an international collaboration between Alex Minoff and Ian Eagleson from the US and Opiyo Bilongo and Onyango Wuod Omari from Kenya. This is the follow-up to 2006's OK-OYOT SYSTEM. Their sound is a unique mix of American boogie rock and Benga - an upbeat style of guitar dance music that has been popular in Kenya since the 60s.
