'One More Car, One More Rider' - the title comes from a fairground ride barker; Eric heard the man calling out, repeatedly, "One more car, one more rider!" to fill the last seat in the last car available for each ride - is a double live album featuring material recorded at the Bukokan in Tokyo and The Staples Center in Los Angeles. This is Clapton's first live CD since his 1992 multiple Grammy-Award winning 'Unplugged' and features 19 tracks - including 'Key To The Highway', 'Tears In Heaven', 'Badge', 'Bell Bottom Blues', 'Change The World', 'Layla', 'Wonderful Tonight', and 'Cocaine'. In addition, Eric performs Harold Arlen and E.Y Harburg's timeless Oscar-winning song, 'Somewhere Over the Rainbow', originally written for the 1939 motion picture 'The Wizard Of Oz'.

2001年ツアーを収録したライブ盤です。クラプトンの数ある ライブアルバムの中で一番好きです。 その理由は、オリジナル曲を多く演奏しているところ。特に 「プリグリム」から４曲演奏しており、スタジオテイク以上に 素晴らしい演奏になっています。その中でも、「River Of Tears」 のアウトロのギターソロは気迫がこもっています。 また、「いとしのレイラ」での迷いのない自信にあふれた歌声も 好きです。

長年やって来たバンドとの2001年、アメリカ、日本公演のライヴ集。おなじみのひヒット曲、ブルース。「Got Your Mind」と楽しい、哀しい「Tears In Heaven」、マジな「Change　The World」。気合が入って充分に聴かせてます。ジョージの共作、「Badge」、往年の「Wondeful Tonight」「Layla」「Sunshine of Your Love]も、格好いい。「I wanna iittle　G irl」で、 しびれる。最後の「Over The Rainbow」で和む。心込めて丁寧に歌い、弾いています。バックも、味がある。我が家では家宝のライヴ・アルバムのひとつ。
