Enya marks the latest stage in a highly successful career with the release of this stunning retrospective box set. 'Only Time - The Collection' brings together tracks from the 1986 album 'The Celts' right up to the Oscar-nominated song 'May It Be', which was written and recorded last year for 'Lord Of The Rings - The Fellowship Of The Ring' at the personal request of director Peter Jackson. Included on 'Only Time' are all of Enya's most loved songs, including hitsingles such as 'Orinoco Flow', 'Book Of Days', 'Caribbean Blue', 'Anywhere Is' and 'Only Time'. In addition, the box set also features a number of tracks that have never been previously featured on an Enya album before. These are 'Eclipse', 'Isobella', 'Song Of The Sandman (Lullaby)', 'Willows On The Water', 'May It Be' and 'Oiche Chiun (Silent Night)'. Also included on the enhanced CD4 is video footage of 'Oiche Chiun (Silent Night)', which was first broadcast on the BBC in December 1996, plus a 48-page booklet which features liner notes by lyricist Roma Ryan, a discography and archival photos.

代表曲はほとんど網羅されているので、これからenyaを聴こうという方にオススメです。また、作詞を担当しているRoma Ryanによる各曲のコメントも参考になると思います。

ｴﾝﾊﾝｽﾄ・ﾃﾞｰﾀが入っていたりしますが他の盤より音質が良い「気」がしますよ。うちのﾁｰﾌﾟなｵｰﾃﾞｨｵで再生してもそんな「感じ」がします。まぁ、豪華な装丁にだまされてるだけかもしれませんが…。ﾘﾏｽﾀｰされてるってわけでもないですしねぇ…

凄い内容！でも「Box of dreams」と比べてアルバム未収録曲( stoms in africa のシングル版やI may not awaken等）や貴重音源の収録が少なすぎる・・。ブックレットの内容には期待。一応10点ですが、発売の意義が薄い気が・・。とはいえ「Box of」より高級な装丁は評価したいです
