エルヴィス・プレスリーの没40周年記念として、RCAメジャー・デビュー前の最も初期のエルヴィスの録音を、最も包括的に網羅してリリースされる3枚組CD『ボーイ･フロム･テュペロ：ザ･コンプリート1953-1955レコーディングス』（品番：8898541773- 2）の収録音源から17曲を抜粋したアナログ盤。「ザ・キング・オブ・ロックンロール」となる前のエルヴィス・プレスリーの台頭を時系列で追う、1枚もの12インチ・アナログ盤パッケージである。プロフェッショナルのレコーディング・アーティストとして最初の驚異的な1年（1954年7月〜1955年7月）の間に、プロデューサーのサム・フィリップス、ギタリストのスコティ・ムーア、ベーシストのビル・ブラックとともに録音したこのコレクションには、エルヴィスのサン・レコーズ時代のシングルA面およびB面が完全収録されているのに加え、サン・スタジオで録音され、1956年にリリースされた衝撃的なファースト・アルバムに収録された曲も含まれている。
