最初はエラの声が少々ハイ上がり（録音が古い？）かなと思いましたが、超高速のスーパースキャットを聴いたら、ぶっ飛びました。本当に凄い！！！　ライブならではの臨場感と、ジャケットそのままのエラが伝わってきました。惜しむらくは録音ではなく客席で聴きたかった。

One of the finest jazz singers ever! Ella is on fire in Berlin for this live recording that features, among other great standards, a seemingly impromptu version of Mack the Knife, tipping the hat to Louis Armstrong and Bobby Darin (whose version most closely resembles Satchmo’s). Smouldering, invigorating stuff!
