The East Side Gamblers mantra, 'Rock & Roll For People Who Love Rock & Roll' is more than a short, to the point description for the fans of the music. It's a credo for the Gamblers. A reminder when they step into a room to write and jam, or step onto a stage to perform of why they started to play together and the music they set out to create. No nonsense, no frills, timeless rock and roll free of the ever changing trends that water down so much of today's popular music. Drawing inspiration from such timeless acts as AC/DC, UFO, Thin Lizzy, Grand Funk Railroad, Humble Pie and early Kiss just to name a few, the Gamblers have drawn comparisons to these acts along with current contemporaries like The Hellacopters, Danko Jones, Supagroup, The Wildhearts, and the Backyard Babies just to name a few. The self titled EP and the latest offering, 'All In' are spirited offerings knocked out in short order tracking the spark and growth of the band combining solid hooks and songwriting with the simple need to knock your head off one riff at a time!
