It is sometimes hard to put a finger on exactly what sound Earthsol is trying to convey from song to song. One way to put it into words is Unique Rock and Roll. With a solid backdrop of Rock and Jazz tradition, Earthsol has manged to create something that does not exactly fit into one genre completely. It's safe to say that Earthsol is a genre unto it's own. Unafraid to explore different sounds and musical direction, Earthsol can sometimes show great restraint and patience, and other time journey into uncharted improvisational territory. The songs are many times very lyrically deep and may reference religion, politics, human emotion, but always in more of an exploratory fashion that a preaching style. That is not to say that there is no fun in Earthsol's music because it is easy to see that they love what they do and create some songs specifically for the purpose of having fun.
