ドリーム・シアターの公式ブートレグ・シリーズ第2弾は2011～12年ツアーのライヴ音源を収めた『Lost Not Forgotten Archives: A Dramatic Tour of Events - Select Board Mixes』

プログレッシヴ・メタルの頂点に君臨し続けるドリーム・シアターが、ライヴ、デモ、スタジオ・アウトテイクなどの秘蔵音源を公式ブートレグとしてリリースする“Lost Not Forgotten Archives”（＝忘るまじ喪失音源集）シリーズ。6月発売の第1弾作品『イメージズ・アンド・ワーズ～ライヴ・イン・ジャパン2017』に続く第2弾は、『ア・ドラマティック・ツアー・オブ・イヴェンツ～セレクト・ボード・ミックス』。本作は、2011年発売の11thアルバム『ア・ドラマティック・ターン・オブ・イヴェンツ』を引っ提げた2011/2012年ツアーよりセレクトされたライヴ音源（2CD／約120分）。アルバム発売の前年にリーダー的存在だったマイク・ポートノイ（Dr）が衝撃の脱退、“世界最速ドラマー”の異名を持つマイク・マンジーニ加入後初のツアーでもある。この作品は2013年のXmasにファンクラブ限定でダウンロード配信されたことはあるが、フィジカル（CD/LP）とストリーミング配信は今回が初めてとなる。また同年発売された当ツアーのライヴ映像作品との被り曲はなく、ラストの「As I Am」はジャパン・ツアー2012の追加公演＜4/24 SHIBUYA-AX＞のアンコール音源を収録している。
