Chaplin's Secret is a call for solidarity with minorities, which are increasingly pushed to the margins of society. With their international band, which includes musicians from Sweden, Siberia, Ukraine, Australia, Italy and Israel, Dotschy shows, how colorful, diverse and beautiful the world can be, if supposedly foreign cultures find their place in our society. Dotschy Reinhardt takes Charly Chaplin's mystery as starting point to explore her musical roots. She is deeply influenced by Django Reinhard's Hot Club Swing, Bossa Nova, American Jazz and the music of Frank Sinatra.
