The Dos Monos Dos Moons series, constructed around original artwork by horror manga master Junji Ito, is now released on vinyl as the complete edition, Dos Moons (Full Moon).

This album reconfigures two EPs released by the rap trio Dos Monos in 2025 Dos Moons (May) and its sequel Dos Moons 2 (December) adding newly created intro and outro tracks to form a fully realized LP.

Inspired by the imagery of Junji Ito’s original illustrations, Dos Moons marked a new phase for Dos Monos, colliding the group’s long standing experimental approach as a rap trio with band like ensemble arrangements. Building on that foundation, Dos Moons 2 pushed even further, foregrounding raw impulses forged through live performance and bold structural shifts that seemed to dismantle the music itself.

Dos Moons (Full Moon) is not merely a compilation that binds the two EPs together. By placing these once fragmentary tracks onto a single orbit, the album expresses the duality—the light and dark sides of the moon that Dos Monos originally set out to portray, now unified within one complete work.
