In between her appearances on Let It Bleed and Dark Side of the Moon, this New York soul singer-by then living in England-signed to Apple and recorded this 1970 debut LP. She co-wrote most of these (with George Harrison, Ringo Starr and Stephen Stills, who also perform): Ain't That Cute; Give Me Back Dynamite; Hurry, and more. An unissued version of her co-write with Billy Preston, All That I've Got, join the five 1992-reissue bonuses: Get Back; Dearest Darling; What You Will Blues; Vaya con Dios, and another version of All That I've Got !

素晴らしい歌唱力｡素晴らしい表現力｡何故当時George Harrisonが一目惚れして｢apple record｣に招待したか…何故Claptonが彼女のｱﾙﾊﾞﾑに参加しているか…彼女にはmagicが存在していました｡gospel･blues･rock…総てのｼﾞｬﾝﾙを歌いこなせる女性singer…DORIS TROI｡美しき女性です｡

え…ﾄﾞﾘｽ亡くなったんですか?知らなかった｡この人を最後に見たのは｢MAMA 〜｣でした｡年齢を重ねても衰えを知らないその歌唱は現在のBLACK MUSICやJ-POPしか知らない若い世代は聴いた方が善い｡俺みたいなﾒﾀﾙ野郎でも感動したよ｡合掌…MAMAは毎回見に行ってました。
