Domenica formed in Winnipeg in 2004 and have been working solidly towards dominating the international Rock scene with their combined Grunge, Metal and Pop sounds. Headed by former runway model, Bekki Friesen, on lead vocals and guitar the band also includes Kurtis Wittmier (base guitar/vocals), Josh Bedry (lead guitar/vocals) and Steve Hrycyshy (drums). Above Me is their first release from Domenica's new album, The Luxury. Marcos Cureil from Pod co-wrote and played guitar on 3 tracks and half of the album was tracked at Matt Sorum's (GnR/Velvet Revolver) Studio. The new release has already been on high rotation in Canada as well as receiving a fervent public reception in Japan (reaching no. 3 with The Luxury).
