Product Description

Former member of OEDIPE and MOVING, keyboardist Herv QUEUDOT established the French band Desforme. Along with his colleagues, he performs a complex jazz-rock music, close to that of IN CAHOOTS or SHORTWAVE, but without guitar. The saxophone sets ablaze an elaborated music full of breaks or rhythms changes (Accelerations, breaks...). The wind instruments sometimes sound free-jazz and increase the tension and the eruption of a music constantly fed by nervous piano notes. Published on the Gazul label, Souk Souk (1998) can be compared to SOFT MACHINE's Fourth. Not to be missed !
