Deleveled, the trio of Jeff Pitts (guitar, vocals), Matthew Biddle (bass, vocals) and Sammy Roland (Drums), will release it's new album, Midnight Radio. Deleveled, once known for it's riff-heavy modern rock tendencies, has matured into a band that eschews traditional radio format. The classic-rock tinged Affinity contains an impressive solo. Beautiful Girls is as compassionate a rock song as there can be. Deleveled hasn't softened. Rather, the band has sanded it's rougher edges, evident since Pitts took over lead vocals. On Midnight Radio, Jessica Skinner, Pitts' bandmate in Prettier Than Matt, adds harmony vocals to songs that gives the album more dimension. - Otis Taylor - 'The State' newspaper. With a freshly pressed Kickstarter-funded album, Midnight Radio, in tow, local rockers Deleveled showcase a different side of their mainstream pop-rock sound. As the title might suggest, the new songs are a mellower, more late-night collection than previous in-your-face efforts, and the bonus cover of Madonna's Like a Prayer is less novelty and more a clever use of the tune that plays to Deleveled's instrumental strengths.
