無難すぎる！ もっと彼等の存在感を出して欲しかった！ 楽曲の充実度は前作品より良いけど、なんか重みが無いというか…。彼等のファンは、求めるもののレベルも非常に高いのだから、平均点的な作品では満足がいかない！特に80年代からのファンは…。“Scar”に少々救われたが…。そろそろ、以前とは別のバンドと認めないといけないかな。CLARKいなくして、ロック然とした名作は、もう作れ無いとの本人達の本音が透けて見えてくるようで…。

あれ？もう新作？？という感じでしたので、なんだか拍子抜けしてあまり聴かなかったアルバムです。 確かに『ユーフォリア』の雰囲気を踏襲しているアルバムなのでクオリティは保証されているのでしょうが、今思い出せる曲がほとんどありません。 今作を機に、以前ほどデフ・レパードの音楽を求めないようになった私が変わってしまったのでしょうか・・・

シングルにもなった５以外は出来的には全滅ですね。BON JOVIといいAEROSMITHといい、HR/HMバンドとしての牙を失い、ただの大衆向けバンドに成り下がってしまったのは残念。３〜４年かかってこの出来じゃ、もう彼等には期待できそうにありません。
